Asaja-Huelva and the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation have renewed their agreement to process CAP aid for free, a service that benefits nearly 3,500 agroforestry professionals in the province.
The Caja Rural del Sur Foundation and Asaja-Huelva have renewed for another year the agreement that facilitates the processing of Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) aid for farmers, ranchers, and forestry professionals in the province of Huelva. According to condavision.es, the agreement continues a collaboration that began more than two decades ago.
The service, which is completely free, allows for the expedited submission of applications and the monitoring of files, benefiting nearly 3,500 agroforestry professionals from Huelva each year. The agreement has been signed by the director of the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation, Emilio Ponce, and the general secretary of Asaja-Huelva, Félix Sanz.
Thanks to this framework, Asaja-Huelva will strengthen its CAP aid department with specialised technical staff, who will provide advice and personalised attention to the holders of the farms throughout the process. Emilio Ponce highlighted that the renewal reflects “the sustained commitment of Caja Rural del Sur and its Foundation to a strategic sector for the economy and social structure of the province.”
“Agriculture, livestock, and the forestry sector generate wealth and employment, retain population in the territory, and contribute decisively to the projection of Huelva. Our connection with its professionals is part of the history and identity of Caja Rural del Sur, so we consider it essential to continue supporting them and helping them face increasingly demanding procedures.”
Félix Sanz has expressed gratitude for the historical support of the entity, which he considers essential for maintaining the quality and reach of the service. “The CAP is an essential support for the viability and continuity of numerous agricultural, livestock, and forestry operations. In a scenario marked by uncertainty, regulatory changes, and rising costs, this aid provides stability and allows professionals to continue developing their activities,” he stated.
The general secretary of Asaja-Huelva also emphasised the growing administrative complexity of these aids: “The processing requires increasingly greater technical knowledge, meticulous attention, and constant monitoring. The work of our professionals is crucial for farmers and ranchers to correctly submit their applications and navigate the process with confidence.”
