The Diputación of Huelva invests over €800,000 to rehabilitate the HU-3300, a 3.7 km road connecting La Redondela and Pozo del Camino. The works, scheduled for three months, will improve the surface, drainage, and signage.
The provincial road HU-3300, which links the areas of La Redondela and Pozo del Camino, is undergoing a comprehensive rehabilitation with an investment exceeding €800,000. The project covers 3,748 meters of roadway and has an execution period of three months, as reported by Huelva Buenas Noticias.
The works include the complete rehabilitation of the surface, enhancement of the drainage system, and renewal of the road surface. New vertical and horizontal signage will also be installed to improve circulation and safety conditions on the road.
The HU-3300 serves a dual purpose: it facilitates travel between La Redondela and Pozo del Camino and provides access to numerous agricultural operations located along its route. Therefore, its condition directly impacts the economic activity of the area.
The provincial deputy for Roads, Manuel Cayuela, visited the works alongside the mayor of La Redondela, Salvador Gómez, and the provincial deputy of Isla Cristina, Emiliano Cabot. Cayuela noted that the maintenance of provincial roads is especially important in areas where roads also play a role linked to economic and agricultural activity.

This initiative is the third intervention promoted by the Diputación of Huelva in La Redondela during the current legislature, following other works carried out on roads and urban spaces.
The rehabilitation is part of the programme for the conservation and improvement of the provincial road network. The Diputación plans an investment of €38 million until 2027 for the maintenance, rehabilitation, and improvement of access and connections. This amount is in addition to the new road and path maintenance contract, endowed with €14 million for the next four years.
The Provincial Road Network currently comprises 812 kilometres connecting various municipalities and areas of the province. In the case of the HU-3300, the improvement will benefit a connection of just four kilometres, but it is crucial for daily commutes and access to agricultural operations in the vicinity.
