The Development Consortium of Huelva County co-organises the I International INTREPIDA pro Forum, which will take place on 27 and 28 October in Seville with businesswomen from Andalusia, Algarve and Alentejo.
The female business fabric of southwestern Europe will gather on 27 and 28 October in Seville for the I International INTREPIDA pro Forum, a cross-border meeting co-organised by the Development Consortium of Huelva County within the European cooperation programme Interreg Spain-Portugal (POCTEP). According to Huelva Buenas Noticias, the event will bring together businesswomen, executives and entrepreneurs from Andalusia and the Portuguese regions of Algarve and Alentejo.
This is the first of four major networking and knowledge transfer meetings planned in the INTREPIDA pro project. The aim is to create direct work networks between professionals on both sides of the border and to leverage geographical proximity to enhance competitiveness in women-led initiatives.
The programme for the two days includes panels on digitalisation and communication strategies for external projection, access to funding avenues and European incentives for innovation, and technological integration in international market niches. There will also be work dynamics aimed at signing commercial agreements and interregional alliances.
The agri-food, sustainable tourism, advanced services, and creative industries sectors are emerging as the main drivers for generating synergies between the Huelva County region and southern Portugal.
The president of the Development Consortium of Huelva County, Paco Pérez, has emphasised the value of this event for entrepreneurs in the province.

Pérez added that European tools like INTREPIDA pro are “the ideal lever to energise the local economy and internationalise our productive fabric”.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is led and coordinated by the Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean. Key partners include the Huelva County Consortium, the Bay of Cádiz Foundation, the Business Nucleus of the Évora Region (NERE), and the Business Association of the Algarve Region (NERA).
