The company Almendras Llopis, specialised in the roasting and trading of almonds, has recorded a 11.69% increase in its revenue during the fiscal year 2025, reaching 132 million euros, compared to 118.8 million euros from the previous year, according to the publication expansion.com.
Despite this growth in revenue, the net profit has experienced a decline of 12.8%, standing at 7.5 million euros, which has been allocated to voluntary reserves. The company, based in San Vicente del Raspeig, Alicante, employs 88 employees and generates 90.6% of its sales through exports.
Demand remains stable in Europe, although a slight increase has been recorded in a market considered mature. However, the company has noted a reduction in the domestic US market, which has seen double-digit declines over the past two years. Almendras Llopis has indicated that the geopolitical situation and negotiations between the United States and Europe regarding tariffs have introduced uncertainty into the market.
The company has acquired Finca La Estacada in Olivenza, Badajoz, which has 1,900 hectares of olive groves, as part of its agricultural strategy. This investment, amounting to 10 million euros for the construction of a new shelling plant, is expected to boost the agricultural company's maximum potential by 2027.
