The second edition of the Sustainable Competitiveness Awards from BBK ESG Hub Cámarabilbao is now open for applications. According to camarabilbao.com, interested companies can submit their applications until October 11 at 23:59 through the official hub website.
All companies with their registered office in Bizkaia or whose main activity takes place in this territory can participate. The initiative is promoted by the BBK Banking Foundation and the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Petronor.
The awards are divided into three categories. The Environmental Innovation Award recognises organisations focused on environmental care and decarbonisation through their own innovative initiatives. The Sustainable Social Innovation Award distinguishes those working on social aspects with their own projects.
The third category, SME Award for Best Integration of ESG Criteria, has two awards: one for SMEs that implement ethical, environmental, and social actions in their management model, and another for companies that excel in a specific aspect of sustainability.
