The founder of Sesderma, Gabriel Serrano, has denounced on social media the management of JB Capital, which acquired 50% of the company. He claims that the lack of leadership has caused an 80% drop in sales.
Doctor Gabriel Serrano, creator of Sesderma, has expressed his discontent on social media towards the fund JB Capital, which bought 50% of the company in July. According to expansion.com, Serrano criticises the "lack of leadership" that has led to a drastic 80% decrease in the company's sales, directly affecting its EBITDA for 2026.
In his statement, Serrano mentions the fund's managers, including Javier Botín, and declares: "I will not remain indifferent to any action that could jeopardise the assets." Despite the situation, Serrano remains a shareholder and is part of the board of directors of Sesderma, which was founded in Valencia three decades ago.
The entry of JB Capital coincides with a pre-insolvency process that the company is undergoing, which sought support to restructure its debt. Serrano assures that he will inform about the decisions made and that "we will recover the company." However, he also expresses his uncertainty about the current management and the new CEO Luis Doussinague, who comes from Isdin.
"The arrival of Javier Botín's group has been the biggest mistake of my life," says Serrano, emphasising the need for transparency in management. He assures that he will provide documentation to support his claims and that he will not make accusations without evidence.
