The executive presidents and CEOs of the Ibex received an average support of 96.38% in their re-elections, as reported by expansion.com. This percentage reflects an increase of 3.5 points compared to the previous vote.
The re-election of the 19 executive presidents and CEOs of the Ibex received an average support of 96.38% in their general meetings. This support translates to an increase of 3.5 points from the 92.86%% obtained in the previous vote.
The chief executives had higher backing, achieving an average of 98.7%%, while the executive presidents received support of 94.06%%. The highest support was recorded in the fashion and beauty group Puig, where Jose Manuel Albesa received 99.97%% of the votes for his appointment as CEO, and Marc Puig was re-elected with 99.93%%.
The first appointment of this year went to Pedro Azagra, CEO of Iberdrola, who received support of 99.53%% for his ratification as a director. In the case of Josep Maria Recasens, his appointment as CEO of Indra was approved with 99.1%% backing.
Among the most supported CEOs are Marco Patuano of Cellnex with 99.92%% approval, Luis Maroto of Amadeus with 99.88%%, and Luis Gallego of IAG with 99.79%%.
In terms of re-elections, Ismael Clemente of Merlin Properties stood out with 98.83%% and Óscar García Maceiras of Inditex with 98.78%%. In contrast, Francisco Reynés of Naturgy and Maurici Lucena of Aena received lower support, with 92.15%% and 87.79%%, respectively.
