Inditex has appointed Marta Andreia Rodrigues as the new director of Zara Woman, replacing Lorena Rodríguez Veiga. This change comes after the departure of Beatriz Padín Santos, who held the position since 2024.
Inditex has made a new appointment in its management structure, designating Marta Andreia Rodrigues as the new director of Zara Woman. Rodrigues has a fourteen-year career at the company, having been the women's director at Pull&Bear for the last year and a half, and previously held various positions in the Zara Basic team.
This change occurs in the context of internal restructuring, after Beatriz Padín Santos decided to end her career at the group. Since her departure, Alfredo Ferro Varela temporarily took over the direction of Zara Woman, before Rodrigues' promotion was confirmed.
It has not yet been officially communicated what the new role of Lorena Rodríguez Veiga will be, who directed Zara Woman since 2024. Meanwhile, Eva Pérez Salgado, with 15 years of experience at Inditex, will take over from Ferro at the helm of Zara Basic.
In financial terms, Inditex reported a net profit of €2.98 billion in the first half of its fiscal year 2026-2027, representing an increase of 6.8% compared to the previous year. Sales also showed a growth of 7.6%, reaching €19.755 billion, with positive performance in both physical and online stores.
