The Chamber of Murcia opens registration for up to 45 establishments to participate for free in the parade "Fashion in the Showcase", ahead of the seventh edition of "Murcia in the Showcase". The deadline ends on 27 September.
The Chamber of Murcia has launched a call for local shops to participate in "Fashion in the Showcase", a collective parade that will take place on Saturday 31 October in the Plaza Julián Romea and will transform this space in the historic centre into an urban catwalk. This action precedes the seventh edition of "Murcia in the Showcase", the commerce and culture festival organised by the corporation, as published by camaramurcia.es.
Up to 45 shops from the municipality of Murcia can participate, free of charge. Fashion stores may present between two and three complete looks, while establishments specialising in accessories may showcase between four and five products. The organisation will make a prior selection of the garments to maintain a coherent aesthetic line with the creative concept of the parade.
During the event, a professional presenter will introduce each appearance and mention the participating establishments so that the audience can identify them. In addition to the parade, the shops will receive a practical guide and mentoring on the day of the event aimed at improving their business training.
The guide covers strategic assortment selection and purchasing according to the type of store and customer profile, team training in image consulting techniques and adapting sales language, promoting cross-selling with recommendations for trendy outfits, and boosting additional sales through knowledge of materials, qualities, and trends.
Those interested must fill out the application form available on the Chamber of Murcia's website. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the 45 spots are filled. The deadline for registration is 27 September. The action is funded by FEDER Funds and the Secretary of State for Commerce.
