The Asturian capital will become the Ibero-American epicentre of franchising on 18th September 2026. The Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo will host the IV Ibero-American Franchise Meeting, organised by the consultancy Centro Franquicias, as reported by the chamber itself on its website. The event will bring together top leaders in the sector from Latin America and will serve as a showcase for six new Asturian brands looking to make the leap to the international market.
The day will take place in a hybrid format: in-person at the Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo and simultaneous streaming via Zoom for international attendees. The established schedule is from 16:00 to 20:30. Registration is free and open to professionals and entrepreneurs through the website www.centrofranquicias.com.
"The meeting will connect the main Latin American markets with the regional productive fabric," the organisers state.
The programme will culminate at 20:00 with an event called “Golden Closure”, during which an institutional agreement will be formalised with the Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo and a strategically significant announcement for the sector will be made. The organisation has not revealed the content of that announcement.
