This Saturday, PP and Vox participated in a march in Madrid called by Sociedad Civil Española to demand immediate general elections and support for Ceuta. The protest arises after the mass entry of immigrants in July.
Leaders of PP and Vox joined this Saturday in a march in Madrid organized by Sociedad Civil Española (SCE). The demonstration calls for the immediate calling of general elections and guarantees that they will be conducted fairly, amid suspicions of a possible electoral fraud by the Government.
The event was led by Santiago Abascal, president of Vox, and was attended by Miguel Tellado, general secretary of the PP, and Alicia García, spokesperson for the Popular Group in the Senate. Abascal expressed his solidarity with the citizens of Ceuta, who have faced difficulties during the recent migration crisis.
The manifesto of the mobilization requests “the immediate calling of general elections so that the Spanish people can express their will freely.” Additionally, it demands the for treason, in relation to his management in Ceuta during the July crisis, when more than 80,000 immigrants arrived in the city.
Furthermore, the organizers are calling for the militarization of the square and the expulsion of immigrants to Morocco, highlighting the need for decisive responses for the citizens of Ceuta and Melilla. The next event of this movement will take place in Barcelona on October 12, coinciding with the National Day.
