Transgourmet Ibérica, heir to GM Food, reported a turnover of **€1.208 billion** in 2025, a decrease of **1%** compared to the previous year. However, its profits fell by **13%**, reaching **€21 million** after taxes.

The wholesale distribution company, formerly known as GM Food and owned by the Swiss group Coop, closed its financial year with a turnover of **€1.208 billion**, according to data from expansion.com. This result represents a slight decrease of almost **1%** compared to 2024.

During the past year, Transgourmet Ibérica experienced a cut in its net profit, which stood at **€21.04 million**, reflecting a decrease of **13.4%**. The turnover has remained stable in a transitional context, where the company is preparing to seize the opportunities presented by its centenary.

The hospitality and catering supply sector generated approximately **€650 million**, **0.6%** less than the previous year. Additionally, the proximity store division achieved a turnover of **€558 million**, with a year-on-year decrease of **1.2%**.

The change of wholesale supplier for the Roges chain, which switched to Condis Supermercats in 2024, may have influenced the stabilization of sales. Profitability was also affected, with an operating profit of **€31.3 million**, **11.8%** lower than in 2024.

Despite the challenges, Transgourmet Ibérica plans growth for 2026, focusing on attracting independent hospitality clients and new store openings. Currently, the company has **74** establishments under the GM Cash brand, following the recent opening of a wholesale centre in Mercabarna, which involved an investment of **€11 million**.

In its retail division, Transgourmet has expanded its network of franchised stores with the opening of **30** new points of sale under brands such as Suma, Spar, and Kuups, resulting from a partnership with the company Nudisco. During 2025, the company made investments totalling **€85 million**.
