The Ministry of Transport is investing €1.5 million to rehabilitate the surface of the N-431 between kilometres 79.53 and 85.7. The road will be closed in both directions from September 28 to October 2, with alternative routes via the H-31 and A-49.
The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is carrying out rehabilitation works on the surface of the N-431, between kilometres 79.53 and 85.7, in Huelva. The project has an investment of €1.5 million, according to Andalucía Información.
The works include milling the surface and waterproofing the deck of the overpass over the H-31 motorway, after which a new layer of asphalt will be laid.
To ensure the safety of workers and drivers, the N-431 will remain closed in both directions between kilometres 79.75 and 80.12 from Monday, September 28 to Friday, October 2. The ramps of junction 80 of the H-31 will also be affected.
The ministry has designed marked alternative routes. Access to Huelva from the industrial estates will be via the A-5000R and A-5000 roads. To reach La Ribera from the industrial estates, the route will go via the H-31 towards Seville, with a U-turn at junction 75 of the A-49. The journey from Huelva to La Ribera will use the H-31 and the same U-turn at junction 75.
Those travelling from La Ribera towards the industrial estates or towards the H-31 in the direction of Seville must take the H-31 towards Huelva and make a U-turn at junction 84. The same applies to reach the industrial estates from the H-31 heading towards Huelva: the U-turn will be made at junction 84.
The restrictions will remain in place until Friday, October 2, although the schedule may vary depending on weather conditions, equipment performance, and the progress of the works, according to the ministry.
