From 7 to 29 September, the car parks at the Mercado del Carmen and Pablo Rada are offering special rates with Multipass starting from €2.59 to support local commerce and hospitality.
The Huelva City Council and Telpark have launched a discount campaign in the car parks at the Mercado del Carmen and Pablo Rada to facilitate the return to activity after the summer. The initiative will be in effect from 7 to 29 September and offers special rates through the purchase of Multipass for 12 hours of parking.
Promotional prices start at €2.59 in the Mercado del Carmen car park and €2.99 in the Pablo Rada car park. Multipass packages can be purchased in bundles of 5, 10 or 20 passes via the Telpark app, and they work by associating the vehicle's license plate for automatic entry and exit through digital reading, eliminating the need for tickets or manual payment.
From the Tourism and Commerce Department of the City Council, it has been noted that this initiative is “another tool to enhance accessibility at a time when, after the summer period, commercial, hospitality and service activities are gradually recovering, one of the pillars of the local economy.” They also reminded that “facilitating parking and improving access options to commercial and leisure areas helps create more favourable conditions for residents and visitors to shop, visit markets, run errands or enjoy the city's hospitality offerings.”
The Operations Director Off-Street in Iberia for Telpark, Ignacio Merry del Val, explained that “with Multipass we want to offer a simple response to those who need to park frequently and seek predictability, flexibility and a fixed price.” He added that “digital access via license plate and the ability to use the passes at different times make it a particularly useful solution for shopping, errands, work or leisure.”
The promotion also includes an incentive for sustainable mobility: Multipass packages carry a 30% discount on electric vehicle charging until 31 December, applicable at the 19 semi-fast chargers of up to 22 kW and the 8 fast chargers of up to 120 kW in both car parks.
The Telpark app will display both the regular and promotional prices of the passes, allowing users to easily identify the savings during the campaign period. The associated license plate can be modified from the app itself, enabling adaptation to different personal, family or work needs.
The campaign coincides with the return to routine, a period when travel increases for work, educational and personal reasons. According to the Telpark Urban Mobility Barometer Impact 2026, shopping, errands and tasks are the second most common reason for travel: nearly two-thirds of citizens include them among their most frequent journeys, with 28% as the first option and 44% as the second. Additionally, 43% of Spaniards identify support for local commerce as the main benefit of parking, and nearly half state that the possibility of parking influences their travel planning.
To benefit from the promotion, interested parties must purchase Multipass passes through the Telpark app during the validity period. Entry and exit are automatically carried out with the reading of the license plate.
