This rally has been driven by a 27% increase in the target price by HSBC analysts, who have raised their estimate from 29 to 37 euros per share.
HSBC's new valuation indicates an additional upside potential of 17% over the recent closing price of the stock at 31.54 euros. This optimism approaches the company's historical valuation highs, which currently have two higher estimates of 38 and 37.5 euros per share.
The rise in oil prices, which have once again surpassed 100 dollars per barrel, has also contributed to Repsol's positive valuation. Throughout September, the company has received eight upgrades from various analysis firms, reinforcing its market position.
