The Ibex 35 starts September with declines, facing pressure from rising oil prices and debt interest. Markets are nervous ahead of the upcoming central bank meetings.

Investor expectations for the Ibex 35 are affected by the rise in oil prices and debt interest, as reported by expansion.com. With just a week to go before a new round of meetings of the main central banks, the Spanish selective index is at risk of falling below 19,800 points.

The escalation of tensions in the Middle East and the consequent rise in oil, which has reached 95 dollars, intensify concerns among investors. The combination of these factors has raised inflation alerts, while ten-year debt interest rates in the United States have reached 4.80%, and in Europe, the German bund hovers around 3.85%.

The technology sector is one of the most affected by this pressure, with the Spanish stock market struggling to find support to avoid further declines. This morning, South Korea's Kospi index recorded a drop of nearly 4%.
