One of the most bearish companies on the Ibex, Colonial, has the backing of 16 out of the 20 analysts who follow it. The company is expected to increase its recurring profit by between 16% and 22% by 2028.
According to expansion.com, Colonial, despite being one of the most bearish stocks on the Ibex, is seen as a solid investment option by the majority of analysts. Its shares have fallen by 3.5% so far in 2026, but most experts are confident in its recovery.
The real estate group closed the first half of 2026 with a recurring profit of 111 million euros, which represents a 4% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth has been driven by rising rental incomes and the demand for high-quality office space.
Moreover, Colonial boasts a high occupancy rate of 93% and maintains a solid pace of leasing, although it faces delays in marketing rehabilitated assets.
The outlook is optimistic, with analysts estimating that recurring earnings per share will increase by between 16% and 22% from 2026 to 2028. It is projected that earnings per share will reach between 39 and 41 cents, compared to 33.6 cents in 2025.
Colonial's growth plan is based on three pillars: investment in prime office assets, the launch of properties from its Alpha X programme, and asset rotation. Bloomberg's consensus of experts sets a target price of 6.35 euros per share, which would imply a 22% upside potential over the next year.
