The Government is speeding up the processes for Ceuta to obtain 11 million euros in financial aid. This amount is part of an infrastructure package aimed at areas affected by emergencies.

Ceuta will be able to receive imminently 11 million euros in financial aid, according to the Ministry of Territorial Policy. This measure aims to expedite the processes related to the funds allocated for disasters approved last February.

The resolution to be approved will allow subsidies to be advanced without waiting for the final approval for other autonomous communities. This is part of the aid package that the Council of Ministers approved on February 10, 2026, declaring Ceuta as an area severely affected by a civil protection emergency.

The autonomous city has submitted 23 projects valued at 22 million euros, which will be reviewed next week. Interested parties will have 10 days to provide additional documentation if necessary, and the instruction is expected to be completed in September.

Once the processes are completed, the resolution for the allocation of the subsidies could be adopted in the first half of October. These projects include works on public buildings, sports facilities, and improvements in water cycle infrastructure, among others.

In addition to this aid, the ministry is also speeding up the processing of other subsidies for the modernisation and digital transformation of local administrations in Ceuta.
