BlackRock, Vanguard and Capital Group have increased their investment in the Ibex by 43%, reaching €100.083 billion.

The managers BlackRock, Vanguard and Capital Group have increased their investment in the Ibex by **43%** compared to 2025. Together, they hold shares worth **€100.083 billion**, which represents **8.4%** of the index.

The investment of large international funds in the Spanish stock market has reached record levels. According to expansion.com, these investors control **50.4%** of the value of the listed companies in the Ibex, the highest percentage recorded to date. Additionally, the participation of Spanish families has risen to **16.7%**, the highest level in four years.

The three main managers, **BlackRock**, **Vanguard** and **Capital Group**, have a combined **€100.083 billion** invested in the index. This figure represents an increase of **43.4%** compared to March 2025. Specifically, BlackRock leads with **€46.560 billion**, followed by Vanguard with **€38.295 billion** and Capital Group with **€15.227 billion**.

The participation of these funds translates into **10%** of the Ibex, which closed June with a capitalization of nearly **€998.000 billion**. Despite maintaining its leadership, BlackRock has seen its share slightly decrease from **15.6%** in March 2025 to **15.1%** in June 2026.

The presence of these managers not only affects ownership, as they also influence corporate governance and sustainability policies of the companies in which they invest. According to **Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME)**, this favours liquidity and connects Spanish companies with global financing channels.

In total, **9,226 institutional private funds** have positions in companies in the Ibex, with a combined investment of **€307.634 billion**, representing an increase of **48.4%** compared to March 2025. Furthermore, the number of managers exceeding **€500 million** invested in the Ibex has grown from **72 to 106** in the same period.

By region, Europe accounts for **51%** of this investment, while North America represents **45.6%**. The United States, with **€135.890 billion**, is the main country of origin for these funds.
