Carlos Paniceres and Alejandro Vega sign the agreement that keeps the Antena Cameral of Villaviciosa open, which this year has provided 511 services to businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in the Cider Region.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo, Carlos Paniceres, and the mayor of Villaviciosa, Alejandro Vega, signed the renewal of the agreement that allows the Antena Cameral to remain open in the municipality this Friday at the Town Hall, as reported by camara-ovi.es. The agreement continues the collaboration between both institutions to bring the Chamber's programs and services closer to businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in the region.
During the event, Paniceres presented Vega with a diploma in recognition of the Town Hall's collaboration. The chamber president emphasized that the agreement not only renews a contract but also a commitment to the local productive fabric.
“Today's signing is not just about renewing an agreement. It signifies renewing a commitment to Villaviciosa, to its businesses, to its freelancers, and to its entrepreneurs. We will continue to work together to bring opportunities closer, improve the competitiveness of our businesses and freelancers, and ultimately contribute to generating economic activity and employment in the Cider Region.”
The Antena Cameral of Villaviciosa serves not only the businesses of the municipality but the entire Cider Region, a territory with an agro-food and cider tradition that coexists with commerce, tourism, and services.
So far in 2026, up to September 17, the office has processed 511 services. These include 52 certificates of origin and 2 visas, as well as 25 viability plans to apply for Leader aid, MicroBank financing, or the single payment, and 11 registrations of freelancers.
In digitalization, through the Office Acelera Pyme, a workshop was held with 38 attendees and 7 technological consultations were carried out. In entrepreneurship, the Antena registered 26 new coworking users and 32 new users of the Emprendedoras and España Emprende programs. There were also 3 dynamization activities with 61 participants and a rural entrepreneurship course with 15 enrollees, in addition to 2 assessments for businesses.
Paniceres highlighted the significance of these figures: “Behind those 511 services, there is much more than just a number. There are businesses that need to carry out management, freelancers seeking advice, shops wanting to improve, projects needing funding, and individuals who have decided to start a business and need support to take their first steps.”
With the renewal of the agreement, the Chamber of Commerce of Oviedo and the Town Hall of Villaviciosa continue to provide support services for business activity and entrepreneurship in the municipality and the rest of the region.
