Santander has activated a new campaign to attract high-income customers through monthly incentives for iPhone rentals. The offer will be available until the end of January 2027.
Santander has relaunched its campaign to capture salaries, pensions, and business accounts by using the zero-cost rental of iPhone phones as an incentive, according to expansion.com. This offer was activated last Saturday, coinciding with the launch of Apple's new devices, and will remain in place until the end of January 2027.
The promotion is structured through the hiring of a technology rental for 36 months. Customers will benefit from a monthly incentive that Santander will pay, provided they meet several linking requirements, such as direct debit of income and bills, use of a credit card, and registration in Bizum.
The incentive will depend on the customer's income level: the higher the salary, the greater the bonus. In this edition, more income brackets and more advantageous conditions have been established for Select segment customers, who must have a minimum wealth of 100,000 euros or a salary of 3,000 euros, as well as for private banking clients.
For example, those with a salary between 1,200 and 2,000 euros will receive an incentive of 31.99 euros per month, allowing them to finance the rental of an iPhone 17. For incomes between 2,000 and 3,000 euros, the bonus rises to 36.99 euros, allowing access to the new iPhone 18 Pro.
Select and private banking customers can receive this incentive with salaries of up to 2,000 euros. For the rental of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, which costs 39.99 euros per month, it is required to have a salary direct debit of at least 3,000 euros, or 2,000 euros in the case of Select segment customers.
After 36 months, customers will have the option to return the phone, hire a new rental, or purchase the device by paying different amounts depending on the chosen model.
