The Spanish company Securitize has seen a 15% increase in its shares following the SEC's decision to allow trading of tokenized stocks. This change benefits companies linked to the crypto sector.

The day of 17 September 2026 proved to be a turning point for the crypto sector after the SEC approved the trading of tokenized stocks. According to expansion.com, this measure has reactivated investor interest, leading to a rally in the shares of companies in the sector.

Among the companies benefiting from this decision is Securitize, which recorded a 15% increase in its value at the close of Wall Street. Founded in 2012 by Carlos Domingo, a former executive at Telefónica, Securitize specializes in the infrastructure needed to tokenize assets.

Market optimism is also reflected in other related companies, such as Coinbase and Gemini, which saw increases of over 5% in their shares. Securitize is expected to continue its upward trend, with futures anticipating an additional increase of around 10% before the market opens.
