The Oviedo Chamber of Commerce is launching a support plan for rural entrepreneurship in Asturias, starting on September 28 in Ribadesella with free training and individual advice.
The Oviedo Chamber of Commerce has initiated a Rural Entrepreneurship Support Plan in various locations in eastern and western Asturias, as reported by the chamber itself. The first stop will be Ribadesella, where the program will begin on September 28.
The initiative is being developed thanks to an agreement with the Public Employment Service of the Principality of Asturias (SEPEPA) and is funded by the regional government. The training is completely free and will be delivered in person, combining group sessions with individual consultations.
The program covers key areas for starting a business: creativity and innovation, marketing and digital transformation, legal and tax aspects, finance, business planning, and employability. Additionally, participants will receive personalized advice and expert support to analyse and develop their business idea aimed at the rural environment. At the end, each student will have their own Viability Plan.
The course is aimed at individuals interested in starting a business in rural areas, with preference given to those who are unemployed. To participate, it is necessary to register through the form provided by the Chamber of Commerce.
