The chamber corporation concludes its cycle of Business Evenings in Cabezón de Pisuerga with around twenty entrepreneurs and announces a new commission to strengthen the provincial productive fabric.
The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Valladolid has held the IV Business Evening 'The Bonds that Matter' at the facilities of Carretillas Mayor – GAM in Cabezón de Pisuerga, a meeting that brought together around twenty entrepreneurs from the Club Cámara to discuss training and innovation, according to camaravalladolid.com.
The president of the chamber corporation, Víctor A. Caramanzana, announced the creation of the new Territory and Future Commission, an entity with which the Chamber aims to promote business development throughout the province in the coming years.
"We want to activate companies and help them become more competitive by promoting Industry 5.0 and the implementation of AI in SMEs"
Caramanzana also reminded that Valladolid will host the International Business Meeting from October 3 to 7 and the LIV AICO General Assembly, an event he described as "a historic opportunity for the business fabric of Valladolid to open new markets". The program will include specific spaces for connecting with companies from four continents, with special attention to SMEs and micro-SMEs.
During the evening, attendees toured the facilities of Carretillas Mayor – GAM and learned about circular economy projects such as Reviver. Its general director in Valladolid, Jemina Cortés, explained that it is "the first factory in Europe that refurbishes and updates machinery with circularity certification".

Training was a major focus of the debate. Alberto Luengo, director of Frenos y Conjuntos, a subsidiary of Lingotes Especiales, pointed out that in his company "we are very concerned about knowing what is happening outside, and from there we design our training strategy". He also offered advice to young people: "to plan where they want to be in 10 or 15 years and design their training plan with that goal without being swayed by trends".
In the area of innovation, Miguel Olea, director of Castilla y León and Northern Zone of Mutuactivos, advocated for a people-centered approach: "we bring innovation to people, to understand the needs of customers and individuals well. Personal interaction integrated with AI; we are investing in technological innovation, but always with our eyes on people". For his part, Antonio Oporto, Long-Term Director of Carretillas Mayor – GAM, summarised his position with one idea: "Only innovative companies advance".
