The company iPronics, dedicated to infrastructure for artificial intelligence, has closed a funding round of €108 million. This capital, which includes investments from Nvidia and Criteria, will be used to scale its operations and facilitate the deployment of its technology in the United States.

The photonic infrastructure company for artificial intelligence, iPronics, has completed a €108 million Series B funding round, according to expansion.com. The investment has been co-led by Maverick Silicon and Light Street Capital, with the participation of Nvidia as a strategic investor and Criteria Venture Tech among others.

The funds raised will be used to increase the company's operations and accelerate the commercial deployment of its product, iPronics ONE, an optical switch that optimizes connectivity between GPU clusters in real-time. iPronics' headquarters is located in Valencia, where they have also opened an office in Santa Clara, California, to strengthen their presence in the US market.

With this round, the total funding raised by iPronics amounts to €153 million. Christian Dupont, the company's CEO, highlighted that “having the support of Maverick Silicon, Light Street Capital, and Nvidia is a powerful validation of our vision.” He also added that this investment will allow “us to significantly accelerate our commercialization.”

Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from the Universitat Politècnica de València, iPronics is a pioneer in optical connectivity solutions and plans to double its workforce of approximately one hundred employees in the next year.
