Meta presented Muse this Tuesday, an artificial intelligence personal assistant designed to facilitate everyday tasks. According to expansion.com, this tool is aimed at individuals over 18 and can manage everything from emails to travel bookings.
The assistant, which is currently only available in the United States, promises to help users turn "long-term goals into action plans." Muse communicates through a standalone app or via WhatsApp and Instagram.
The company has emphasized Muse's security and privacy features, which operate in a secure virtual machine that protects both user data and the assistant itself. Users can ask Muse to develop personalized plans and manage their time and resources, opening browsers and completing forms on their behalf.
This initiative comes at a critical time for Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, who is facing pressure from investors due to the high costs associated with transforming the company into a leader in artificial intelligence. To this end, the group has announced it will allocate up to $145 billion in capital investments this year, primarily focused on AI infrastructure.
