The restaurant Charrán, situated on Rábida Street in Huelva, has closed its doors. The decision brings an end to a project that was born with the aim of uniting the culinary experience of Las Meigas with the philosophy and character of Correlimos, as confirmed by Huelva Información.
Personal and professional changes in recent months have led to a reassessment of the establishment's future. The new professional chapter of Edu Míguez in Madrid, where he currently resides, has resulted in a change in the structure with which Charrán was created. After evaluating various possibilities, it has been decided to close the restaurant as it was conceived.
Since its inception, the venue focused on a cuisine based on quality products and respect for tradition, with a gastronomic proposal that maintained the essence of closeness and enjoyment of the Correlimos universe. Correlimos was the promoter and driving force behind the project, conceived as an evolution of its own philosophy towards a more extensive culinary proposal. To bring this to the kitchen, it enlisted Edu Míguez as chef, whose career allowed the proposal to develop during this stage.
The decision has been made with the conviction that the identity of Charrán resided in the union of different trajectories and culinary sensibilities. The closure marks the end of the project while preserving the spirit with which it was born.
The management has expressed their gratitude to everyone who has been part of Charrán: to the team who worked daily to keep the restaurant going and, especially, to the customers who have trusted the project since its opening.
