The Spanish stock market fails to recover after losing the 20,000 points barrier. Inflationary pressure and rising oil prices complicate the market outlook.

The Spanish stock market faces an uncertain outlook as it begins September, having lost the 20,000 points barrier at the end of August. According to expansion.com, the price of oil remains above 90 dollars, exacerbating inflationary tensions in the economy.

Expectations of an interest rate hike by the European Central Bank add further pressure on investors. A rise in the Eurozone CPI is expected in August, potentially increasing from the previous 2.9% to 3.3%.

This context of uncertainty is further heightened by the escalation of conflicts in the Middle East, complicating central banks' decisions even more. The ten-year debt yields in the USA and Germany are close to 4.80% and 3.30%, respectively.
