Both leaders addressed the multilateral priorities they consider necessary in light of current geopolitical challenges. In particular, they emphasised the importance of strengthening international cooperation in a polarised scenario marked by wars in Ukraine, Gaza, and the Middle East.
Furthermore, they reaffirmed the need to maintain climate action and to advance the sustainable development goals, according to the statement released after the meeting.
