The Toledo Chamber of Commerce took part on September 23 and 24 in Badajoz at the National Meeting of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), a gathering where the results of Spanish consortia and the network's priorities for the next stage were analysed. During the first day, Natalia Martínez Páramo, head of the EISMEA Unit, presented the results achieved by the Spanish consortia of the European network. ACTIS ranks second among them, and the initiative EUROPA+CERCA was highlighted as a good practice for the other consortia. A representative from the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission (DG GROW) outlined the institution's priorities for the new stage.
The programme included several interactive tables. The Toledo Chamber of Commerce moderated the one dedicated to sectoral working groups, a space for exchanging experiences among network members.
The second day focused on digitalisation, access to European funding through cascade funding, the European Defence Fund, and the growth of expanding companies (scale-up). The incorporation of international partners into the EEN was also discussed, drawing on experiences from Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Chile.
After two days of exchanging resources and tools, the Toledo Chamber of Commerce reaffirms its commitment to bringing the opportunities of the Enterprise Europe Network closer to businesses in Castilla-La Mancha and supporting them in their internationalisation processes and competitiveness improvement.
