The auction of the penthouse belonging to the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has been declared deserted after no offers were received for the property, which had a starting price of €6,694,201. This decision was communicated in the minutes of the meeting of the Contracting Table held on September 17, 2026.
The public company Planifica Madrid purchased the penthouse in April for €6.3 million with the aim of addressing space needs related to the renovation of the Real Casa de Correos. Despite expectations, no bids were submitted during the auction.
The same minutes detail that an offer was received for another property on Gran Vía, which will be acquired by Cartesán S.L. for €11,850,010. Consequently, the Table has proposed declaring the auction of the penthouse located on Paseo del General Martínez Campos as deserted.
This sale was scheduled as part of a strategy to allocate funds for the reconstruction of the western sierra, following the wildfires that affected the area during the summer. The information was reported by expansion.com.
