The City Council of Marbella and the Provincial Council of Málaga have launched the training pathways of the 'EnRuta' programme in the city, with an investment exceeding €1.7 million and 122 pathways across the province. The courses for administrative assistants, warehouse and logistics aim to improve the employability of participants.
The City Council of Marbella and the Provincial Council of Málaga have initiated the training pathways of the 'EnRuta' programme, an initiative aimed at enhancing the employability of participants and facilitating their entry into the job market through practical training linked to the needs of businesses. The presentation took place at the Royal Hospital of Mercy, where the General Director of Employment, Economic Promotion and SMEs, Alejandro Freijo, and the Provincial Deputy for Employment, Carmen Márquez, welcomed the students of the courses for administrative assistants and accounting, warehouse assistants, and logistics management, as reported by Diario Sur.
The programme has an investment exceeding €1.7 million and includes 122 pathways in various locations across the province, compared to the initially planned 93, a figure that has been expanded in response to recorded demand. The deputy explained that the project aims to ensure that training and employment opportunities do not depend on the place of residence.

The selected content for Marbella corresponds to profiles required by companies in different sectors. The administrative assistant and accounting pathway covers document management, customer service, and accounting tasks; the warehouse assistant pathway includes control and handling of goods, suppliers, and documentation, while the logistics management pathway focuses on an area with increasing presence in the job market.
According to data from the Provincial Council, 85 percent of participants in such actions subsequently secure a job, either in the companies where they do their internships or in others in the vicinity.
Freijo expressed gratitude to the supramunicipal institution for “its commitment to bringing initiatives that expand the professional opportunities of our residents closer to Marbella” and emphasized that training allows for the acquisition of new skills and useful resources. The municipal official highlighted the practical nature of the pathways and their connection to sectors that demand qualified personnel.

The City Council provides facilities, means, and technical resources for the project's development. Additionally, municipal support in employment matters will continue beyond these pathways through the Employment delegations of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, where professionals can assist and guide both those seeking an opportunity and those wishing to improve their professional situation.
